Before Rockstar Games was making headlines with criminal empires in GTA, they were letting you haul illegal cargo across the desert at 90 mph in Smuggler’s Run for the PlayStation 2. You play as an underground driver in an elite smuggling ring, outrunning cops, rivals, and rugged terrain in oversized vehicles built for speed and chaos. The game features massive open environments—deserts, forests, snow-covered wastelands—designed to test your driving skills and your ability to launch a truck off a cliff and somehow stick the landing.
